Context Menus
Right-click actions on a member or a message, for the things a slash command is clumsy at.

Usage
Right-click a user or message → AppsOverview#
Some actions read better as "do this to that" than as a command with a target option. Those live in Discord's context menus: right-click (or long-press on mobile) a member or a message, open Apps, and pick one.
They are ordinary commands as far as permissions go: the same access rules apply as to the equivalent slash command.
On a member#
Right-click a member → Apps:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Open user ticket | Opens a ticket about that member, with them already recorded as the subject. Saves pasting an id into a form. |
| Rate Member | Rates that member, the same as /rate pointed at them |
| User Icon | Shows that member's avatar at full size, with a direct link |
On a message#
Right-click a message → Apps:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Open message Ticket | Opens a ticket attached to that message, so staff arrive with the context already in front of them |
| Rate | Rates the message |
Tips#
- If Apps is missing from the menu, the bot is missing the Use Application Commands permission in that channel, or the ticket actions are unavailable because the feature is not enabled for the server.
- The ticket actions are the ones worth knowing. Reporting a specific message is far more useful to whoever picks the ticket up than a description of it.
