Getting Started
A quick guide for server admins to set up Strelitzia in their Discord server.
Getting Started#
This guide walks you through adding Strelitzia to your Discord server and configuring it for the first time.
1. Invite Strelitzia#
Use the invite link to add Strelitzia to your server:
Make sure you grant the requested permissions. Strelitzia needs permissions like Manage Roles, Manage Messages, and Send Messages to function properly.
2. Open the Dashboard#
Visit the Strelitzia Dashboard and log in with your Discord account. The dashboard is where you configure all of Strelitzia's features for your server.
3. Select Your Server#
After logging in, you will see a list of servers where you have admin permissions. Click on the server you want to configure.
4. Run the Setup Wizard#
When you first open a server in the dashboard, you can use the onboarding wizard to walk through the most important settings step by step. Alternatively, you can skip the wizard and configure each feature individually from the sidebar.
5. Recommended First Steps#
These are the features most server admins set up first:
- Welcome Messages: Greet new members and optionally assign them a role on join.
- Verification: Add a verification gate so new members must click a button or solve a CAPTCHA before accessing the server.
- Ranking: Enable XP tracking and set up role rewards for active members.
- Logging: Configure audit logging to track message edits, deletes, member joins/leaves, and moderation actions.
You can configure all of these from the dashboard sidebar after selecting your server.
6. Check Your Configuration#
Use the /guild command in Discord to see a quick overview of what is currently configured for your server. This is a handy way to verify that your settings are active.
7. Explore All Commands#
Use the /help command in Discord to see a list of all available commands. You can also browse the full command reference in the Commands section of this documentation.
