Embed

Overview#

Create a custom embed message and send it to the current channel. Running the command opens a modal where you fill in the embed details.

Behavior#

• Opens a modal with the following fields:
  • Title (required): The embed title (minimum 4 characters)
  • Body: The embed description text (supports multiple lines)
  • Color: The embed accent color. Accepts:
    • Named colors (e.g. Blue, Red, Green)
    • Hex codes (e.g. #5865F2)
    • RGB format (e.g. 88, 101, 242)
    • Defaults to blue if not provided
  • Link: A URL to link the embed title to
  • Image: A URL for an image to display in the embed
• After submitting, the bot sends the embed to the current channel
• The embed footer displays your username and avatar
• A timestamp is automatically added
• Requires the Manage Channels permission

Tips#

• Use hex color codes for precise color control. Discord's blurple is #5865F2.
• Image URLs must be direct links to an image file (ending in .png, .jpg, .gif, etc.) for the image to render properly.
